Accessibility Statement

How accessible this website is, how we tested it, and what to do if something gets in your way.

TIS is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including those who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, or need to enlarge or restyle the page.

How accessible this website is

We believe this website is fully conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1, Level AA.

That is a claim we have tested rather than assumed, and the limits of that testing are set out below.

What we have done

  • Every page has a working "skip to content" link as the first item in the tab order.
  • Every page has one main heading and a logical heading structure beneath it.
  • Every page declares its language and has a descriptive, unique title.
  • All functionality is reachable by keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
  • Text and interface colours meet or exceed the required contrast ratios. Where our brand gold was not readable as small text on a light background, we darkened it for that use rather than leaving it.
  • Links within body text are underlined, so they are distinguishable without relying on colour.
  • Images carry alternative text, or are marked as decorative where they carry no meaning.
  • Typefaces are served from this domain, so pages render correctly for visitors whose networks block third-party font services.
  • Content reflows to narrow screens and remains usable at 200% zoom.

How we tested it

All 21 pages of this website were tested on 18 September 2026 against WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA success criteria, using the axe accessibility engine driven through a real browser, supported by manual keyboard navigation checks. Issues found during that testing — insufficient colour contrast on two interface elements, and links in body text distinguished only by colour — were corrected before this statement was published. The final test run reported no violations on any page.

Automated tools reliably detect only a proportion of accessibility barriers. A clean automated result means we have removed the faults a machine can find; it is not the same as testing with the people who rely on these features.

Known limitations

We would rather state these than let you discover them:

  • This website has not yet been tested with screen reader software, nor with users of assistive technology. We intend to commission that testing.
  • It has not been assessed against WCAG Level AAA, and we do not claim that standard.
  • Some diagrams convey their structure visually. Where that is the case the surrounding text explains the same content, but a dedicated long description has not been provided for every one.
  • Any documents published from this site — briefings and similar — have not all been checked for accessibility. If you need one in an alternative format, ask and we will provide it.

If you cannot access something

Email hello@tisglobal.co.uk or call 07385 292925 and tell us what you were trying to do. If you need information from this website in a different format — large print, plain text, an accessible PDF, or read aloud — say so and we will provide it. We aim to reply within five working days.

Reporting a problem

If you find a barrier that is not listed above, we want to know. Email hello@tisglobal.co.uk with the page address and a description of the problem. We treat accessibility defects as defects, and fix them.

Enforcement

TIS is a private company, so the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to this website. Our duty to make reasonable adjustments arises under the Equality Act 2010. If you are dissatisfied with how we respond to an accessibility complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service at equalityadvisoryservice.com.

Technical information

This website is a set of static HTML pages with no client-side framework. It relies on JavaScript only for optional enhancements — a mobile menu and reveal animations — and all content remains readable and navigable with JavaScript disabled.

This statement was prepared on 18 September 2026 and reflects testing carried out on that date.
